'Cougar' is a 7.5m commercial specification Tornado RIB which carries Category 3 certification under the MCA small commercial vessel code, allowing her to work up to 20 miles from a safe haven. The Rib was launched in late 2005 and has a heavy duty 'A' frame with navigation lights, work light, radar reflector, flare box holders,tow points and 6 man liferaft.
Electronics include Icom VHF DSC radio, Lowrance GPS chart plotter, compass and echo sounder, 1500 GPH automatic electric bilge pump and enclosed battery compartment with 2x heavy duty 12v batteries and isolator switch. The hull includes large drop down 'fish tail' scuppers, safety lines inside and outside tubes with handles. Wooden paddles clipped into brackets on tubes. Hydraulic and manual steering. Jockey seats for 4 pax.

The vessel comes on a lightweight 'Rolloader' trailer for quick and easy mobilisation. With the tubes deflated the boat can be towed, launched and recovered easily with any common large four wheel drive car.
