Osiris Projects firmly believe that concise and high quality report presentation is the key to providing the client and end user with the accurate data that they need.Timely provision of key deliverables is paramount in achieving a successful working relationship with the various stakeholders involved, especially within a large multi-disciplined project where the geophysical data is used to inform and progress to the next phase of the project. The very latest version of Bentley System's Microstation CAD software, combined with data acquisition and image processing software such as Coda GeoSurvey and Seismic +, QPS Qinsy, IVS3D Fledermaus, Geosoft Oasis Montage, ERDAS ER Mapper and ARC GIS form the backbone of the Company's data processing capabilities. Our continuous investment in IT ensures the Company is equipped with the very latest sophisticated workstations, fast Gigabit networking and over a hundred Terabytes of secure data storage capacity. This supports data processing and presentation to the highest practicable resolution. Side scan sonar mosaics can be overlaid and 'draped' over processed multi-beam echo sounder data in order to produce accurate, detailed and very realistic 3 dimensional visualisations of the seabed. This process also allows the generation of virtual 'fly-through' presentations which are especially useful for visualisation of cable and pipeline routes and gives the end user a far more comprehensive understanding of the data than conventional paper plan charts and interpreted geological sections alone. Sub-bottom and side scan sonar data is recorded digitally using Coda DA2000 acquisition and processing systems which are fully integrated with the onboard survey navigation network. Data is synchronised, time tagged and geo-referenced for real-time use as well as being stored at full resolution for future post processing and transfer into the final presentation systems.Osiris Projects have developed an extremely capable data processing facility based at our Bromborough offices. This consists of a dedicated office based processing team, CAD team and GIS department, all supported by a state of the art IT system and specialist software packages. Data is presented in a range of formats and mediums, ranging from digital raw files in proprietary formats, processed and quality checked raw files, fully processed and reduced digital data, digital image files, video fly through, digital charts and conventional paper charts and printed reports. |
