Due to continued expansion, we currently have vacancies for Survey Engineers with industry experience. Working as part of a specialist professional team you will be responsible for installation and interfacing of survey sensors, fault finding, repair and maintenance in addition to geophysical data acquisition aboard a range of survey vessels. It is essential that any candidate is a good team player, has an ability to work unsupervised, is reliable, can use own initiative and takes pride in their work in terms of quality and attention to detail.
Vessel based fieldwork can vary from a few days to several weeks depending on the project, therefore an ability to spend periods of time on site and away from home is essential. Additional office work in the company workshop (located on the Wirral) may be required periodically.
As a minimum, candidates should have a college qualification (HND or higher) in either electronic engineering disciplines or through relevant qualifications gained through military service. Suitable industry experience will also be considered.
Osiris Projects own and operate a range of hydrographic and geophysical survey sensors including (but not limited to) multibeam echo sounders, side scan sonar, sub bottom profilers and magnetometers. Being an independently run company provides many advantages from working flexibility to the potential to diversify into challenging new fields/roles. Working consistently in small teams allows strong working relationships to develop and this is a major factor in creating an enjoyable working environment throughout the company.
Osiris Projects is an equal opportunities employer, offering a very competitive salary (strictly based on experience), and provide an attractive benefits package, including private health insurance and a company pension scheme.
