As a surveyor within our company you will form part of a site team of between 3 and 10 people and will be responsible for setting up & collecting data of the highest quality for navigation and multibeam systems, as well as ensuring the general scope of works are completed as efficiently as possible. Site work is predominantly acoustic and geophysical survey operations and will include survey support during various other operations such as ROV investigations as well as environmental and geotechnical sampling. Regular office based work will be expected and will consist primarily of data analysis and reporting. Although the flexible nature of Osiris’ business means you are likely to be involved in many aspects of the business; project planning, equipment development and technical assistance for colleagues. An experience of specific equipment will be viewed as advantageous during application assessment.
Osiris Projects have developed a comprehensive pool of equipment which forms the backbone of standard survey operations. The equipment/software which you would be using on a regular basis will consist of (although by no means be limited to); Reson 7125/8125, GS+, C-Nav, Leica, Qinsy, Hydro Pro, Terramodel, Surfer, Knudsen & Simrad echo sounders.
